Mission

The mission of Seventh Generation Advisors is to put into modern practice the ancient Native American philosophy that the decisions we make today should result in a sustainable world seven generations into the future.

We carry out our mission by:

• Advocating environmental and clean energy policies by providing advice and guidance to visionary political leaders and emerging clean technology firms world-wide;
• Promoting ways to transition to a sustainable, low carbon economy by educating the public, the media and decision makers about the urgency of taking action;
• Guiding climate change policy initiatives for non-profit organizations such as:R20, R20 USA, Center for Climate Strategies, Black Mesa Trust, Clean Seas Coalition, VCS (The Climate Group),Corporate Eco Forum, Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, Carbon War Room, Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment, California Education and the Environment Initiative, Energy Independence Now, Fund for Wild Nature, GHG Management Institute, ICET, P & G, Santa Monica Baykeeper, Solar Santa Monica, Space Energy, Walmart-Sam's Club External Advisory Council, Waterkeeper Alliance, and the Wishtoyo Foundation

• Creatively communicating our mission and message through books, articles, op-eds, television interviews, theater, film, live speeches and blogs.
